Canada is large, heavy, long-necked goose, boldly patterned. 

The Canada Goose was introduced into Britain as an ornamental bird and has now spread to adjacent parts of Europe and is abundant in many places, especially around gravel pits, reservoirs, and park lakes.

An early and late summer visitor to the reserve, in small numbers.
